Shabeglish Privacy Policy

The developer (hereinafter referred to as “we”) sets forth the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) regarding the handling of user information, including personal information, in the services provided in the application “Shabeglish” (hereinafter referred to as the “Services”).

The following user information may be collected in the Services, depending on the collection method.

• Information collected by the Application: Log information, device information, usage statistics data
• Voice Data: Audio and text-converted data sent when the user speaks with AI

The specific purposes of use for user information related to the provision of the Services are as follows:

• To provide, maintain, protect, and improve the Services (AI English conversation, journaling, phrase suggestions, etc.)
• To respond to guidance, inquiries, etc. related to the Services
• To respond to acts that violate terms, policies, etc. related to the Services

3 Methods of Notification, Publication, or Obtaining Consent, and Methods of Requesting Cessation of Use

Consent will be obtained from the user before collecting or accessing the following user information:

• Microphone: Audio input for AI English conversation and journaling

4 External Transmission, Third-Party Provision, and Presence of Information Collection Modules

The following modules are used to provide and improve the Services:

• Google Firebase (Analytics, Firestore, Auth, Crashlytics): For providing Application functions, authentication, data synchronization, and analyzing usage status
• AI Speech Recognition & Processing: For converting speech to text and generating dialogue (e.g., Apple Speech framework)

5 Third-Party Provision

We will not provide personal information among user information to third parties without obtaining prior consent from the user. However, cases where disclosure is required by law or where work is entrusted within the scope necessary for service operation are excluded.
